Frequently Asked Questions

What is permanent jewelry?

A fine chain is fitted to your wrist, ankle, neck, or finger and fused shut with a small welded link — no clasp needed. It's meant to stay on until you're ready to take it off.

Does the welding process hurt?

No. We use a small pulse welder that fuses the chain in a fraction of a second. You may feel a light flash of warmth, but it isn't a burn and there's no needle involved.

Can I shower, swim, and sleep in it?

Yes — that's the point. Our chains are made to be worn every day, in the shower, at the gym, and in the pool or ocean. Just towel-dry it gently after extended water exposure to keep it looking its best.

What if I want to take it off, or it catches on something?

You can snip it off at home with scissors or nail clippers whenever you're ready, or stop by and we'll cut it for you. If it happens to break, bring it back and we'll reweld it.

Will it tarnish or turn my skin green?

We work in genuine gold filled, sterling silver, and 14k solid gold — no plating that flakes or fades. With normal wear, your chain will keep its finish for the long run.

How long does an appointment take?

Most single pieces take about 10–15 minutes from choosing your chain to the final weld. Stacks and multiple pieces run a little longer.

Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in?

Walk-ins are welcome as space allows, but booking ahead guarantees your spot — especially for stacks, groups, and private events.
